Do you recognize this box? It's a quilter's version of an Advent calendar.
It's this year's Missouri Star Christmas box and I'm having a hard time NOT opening it up. I'm so very tempted, but have promised myself to wait until Dec. 1 this year. I've ordered these curated boxes the previous 2 years and it's so fun to have a little something to open each day until Christmas. Notions, patterns, fabric - lots of fun stuff.
If I leave the actual packing box unopened, then I have a better chance of not digging into it early. Both of the previous years I've cheated and opened some things before December. Will I hold off for 11 more days?
Sorry but I think you’re going to cave and open it early!☺️ I know I couldn’t wait. Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteFortitude, Sara, fortitude!
ReplyDeleteMine arrived a month ago. It's been hard to resist packing. We can make it 11 more days! Reward yourself each day that you don't give in with a chocolatey treat. 😉
ReplyDeleteMine arrived a month ago too but I put it in the guest bedroom where I couldn't see it. Now I've moved it into my office so it's more tempting. LOL
DeleteI got my first one this year and I know what you're feeling with itchy fingers but we are strong, powerful women (!) We can do it. Dig out a WIP or UFO and think about that instead. We CAN do it!
ReplyDelete(Can't we)
I think we can, I think we can, I think we can . . .
DeleteWhat a great surprise for yourself! We will have fun seeing what you 'open' each time!
ReplyDeleteWell all I can say is good luck to the lot of you! Me - I'd be right in there first chance I got.........no willpower that's me. Hope you all share each of the days goodies with the rest of us when the time comes - and the time of day you opened the box - as in maybe 1 minute past midnight on 30th November..... Elaine
ReplyDeleteOut of sight out of mind! Tell your hubby to hide it, hehe.
ReplyDeleteOh what a box of fun for you!
