It's that time of year when the critters around here turn to romance. There is a an abundance of wildlife that passes through our yard daily, including turkeys. There are 4 big tom turkeys in this group, and holy cow, can they strut their stuff. This one was really trying to impress the ladies. I'm always amazed at how they can puff up to almost twice their original size.

ReplyDeleteI do enjoy the added critter activity this time of year! The projects are interesting enough to call your attention, too!
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of turkeys in our neighborhood as well. For the last two years we have had a "pure white" turkey in the group. It is fun to see the males doing their dance for the females. I hope to be able to add "move more" to my daily activities as well...if winter weather ever decides to be done and let some more spring like weather come and stay awhile. Good luck with your goals.
ReplyDeleteyou have got a long list - good luck with crossing them!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, love your turkey photo, Sara! We saw a tom doing that at a house near us - at the same time an Amazon driver was trying to make a delivery. We thought maybe Mr. Turkey was letting the delivery guy know that this was his territory, lol! Good luck with your April goals - looks like you have some fun things ready to go!
ReplyDeleteCruisin' turkeys, looking for love! Do you have many cranes? I hear them more than I see them. Good luck with your April goals!
ReplyDeleteWow, there seem (seams) to be a lot on your list!
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of goals!! Hope you get to most of them!
