Intervention #2 & Spiders

Just a quick post before I head out in the rain to a school in-service.
Last night 3 of us met at Sylvia's for another little intervention. We all cut out a project and have the pieces ready for sewing.
But this darling little spider was Marilyn's show 'n tell for the night. It's a placemat, probably for one of her grandchildren. Aren't the fuzzy legs a hoot? It is all made from random strips of Halloween fabric, trimmed to the right shape, legs added, and bound. The eyes are 2 little ironed on applique shapes and buttons. I love it!
