Recently I joined a block swap that I've followed online for awhile at Quilt Block Swap. Each month we are assigned a partner and we make just ONE 12.5" block for that partner based on their personal preferences.
This is just a little glimpse of the block that is going into the mail today for my June partner. She wanted log cabin blocks made of batiks. This is a variation on the traditional log cabin.
I love the idea of making just one block each month because it gives me a chance to work on something new without having to start a whole new project. No chance of it becoming a UFO, right?
