My Twister placemat is completely finished. I handquilted this in random circles in 2 different sizes. And then I bound it in another batik.
I think I'm going to do another of these but with a different layout, maybe putting the background in between the colored squares. This afternoon I stopped in at the Pin Cushion and Cindy showed me one done in a wreath shape. That would be really pretty done in Christmas fabrics.
I'm just now finishing up my Twister. Mine is similar to yours. I would love to see the wreath shape. Next time I do one I'm going to put a little more background in it also.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!!! I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles but that twister pattern is beautiful but looks so hard to a non quilter like me. I love quilts and appreciate what it takes due to my artistic bent and this pattern is incredible.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the sunflowers, those that I took photos of today are already about 5 1/2 feet tall. This is the first time we've planted these particular strain so I will keep you posted as to how tall they get.
