Hand stitching for a road trip

This is the last floral applique block I need to finish my Saturday Sampler from 2015. These are fused and then I'm blanket stitching around the pieces by hand. Lot's of fussy stitching around those little circles, but the end result will be worth it.

I plan to take this along on a little road trip with my husband. He has a couple of client meetings out of state, and I'm going to ride along since I have a few days off. Some people tell me they can't read or stitch in a moving car, but it doesn't bother me. And since he isn't one to chit chat while driving, I need something to keep me busy on a 7 hour drive each way.

  1. It's the perfect project to do on a road trip. Enjoy

If I'm a passenger, I always knit on road trips. The time goes by quickly.
