I have the day off today and spent most of the morning sewing. One of the projects that I worked on is Kim Diehl’s Old Glory. When finished it will be a bit less than 20 x 30". But as with all of the Simple Whatnots, there are a lot of pieces. All of the HSTs are sewn and about half are sliver trimmed to 2.5". There will be 3 rows of HSTs above and below the flag - all facing the same direction as the ones on the side. Then a row of stars on each end.
Two more 4" stars are left to make. Then I can work on putting it all together. Maybe it will happen over the weekend.
Oooh, I like where this one is headed and eager to see it assembled.
