Round 4 is complete on Unity. And I love how it looks.
I altered the blocks for this round, but kept them a similar star and the same size as the original pattern. Round 5 calls for tiny Flying Geese at the top and bottom, so that the quilt becomes a rectangle instead of a square. I’m thinking about keeping them as Flying Geese, but making them larger.
wow...this border really makes it pop!
ReplyDeleteThis border is perfect!! I just love the colors you've chosen.

ReplyDeleteI love the colors you are using for your Unity quilt! It's going to be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh I like this quilt more and more with each round you do!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love your colors, that black really makes them pop. The flying geese were a pain, but they do look good. Looking forward to seeing how you change up the next border.
ReplyDeleteThe black background makes this a real eye catcher. Looking forward to the flying geese.
ReplyDeleteOh, your colors are amazing against that black background! Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt your version of Unity is turning out to be, Sara! You are lucky that working on it can count for January's RSC. Love it when ongoing projects or UFOs fit in with the Color of the Month!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your quilt, do it like you want!
