Some days do not work out very well for taking photos of finished quilt tops. I fought the wind and the wind won.
But, I managed to get a quick look at the finished Dutchman's Puzzle flimsy before our prairie wind rolled it right up and nearly off the deck. I'm really happy with the final result - narrow sashing, aqua cornerstones, and that very colorful tropical batik for the outer border.
Hopefully I'll get a better picture some other day this week.
What's next on my To Do list this week? Time to start working on the paper pieced Circle of Friends block for October. The designer (Carol Doak) posted the new block over the weekend.
We had a breeze over here yesterday too, but the 80 deg temp with a breeze and low humidity felt great. Today is another story at a high of 65!
ReplyDeleteWe had wind yesterday also and it blew in a cool front. That is a lovely quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove that border with your Dutchman puzzle blocks. Congrats on all the finish.
ReplyDeleteLove the border with those blocks! Wind has been pushing the wildfires in northern Wyoming. Everyone is praying for moisture.
