Pink was a great break this week from working on that Farmers Wife Sampler. I needed the bright spring color to switch up sewing on the darker autumn hues in that BIG project. And the results make me pretty happy.
The reversed Ohio Star was made with a pale pink print with darker pink hearts. There isn't a ton of contrast in this one to emphasize the star, but I like it anyway.
Three more of the reversed Ohio Star blocks were produced this week too. The bright pink one has tons of contrast. And since I had cut the parts for the other 2 (aqua and yellow) but didn't get them made during their own months, I finished these up too. There are 25 Ohio Star blocks in my collection so far, which is getting close to having enough for a good sized rainbow quilt.
A pink Twinkle Star is finished too. I'm getting very close to having enough of these for a quilt, although I'm not sure yet how I want to assemble them.
And there are now 3 more pink Falling in Love blocks to make it 5 of each color.
Check out the RSC fun for this week:
