Red, white, blue on the door & pink on the table

My front door is now dressed for the summer with a red, white, and blue quilt.

This is a Riley Blake door hanger kit, and this one I love.  The colors are great, and that light blue mixed in the the dark works so well.

One reason I'm loving this one is the quilting.  My friend Carol did a wonderful job on this one for me, as always. She used a variegated red, white, blue thread and this swirly star design.  The backing was a grey/white backing left over from some other quilt.

I moved on to binding a table runner that Carol quilted for me too - Pink Lemonade. She used the prettiest pink thread on this one so the quilting shows up so well.

It looks very summery on my dining room table, for now.  It may move to another room where I need a more summery runner.
