Last week I had #48 in my title (for part of the day) but then realized that I had skipped #47 completely. So today, it really IS week #48. Yikes!!
Yesterday, while recuperating from Thanksgiving overeating, I did a lot of cutting and not a lot of sewing. One grandson pillowcase is all prepped for sewing. The soccer fabric will have a black cuff, and the minty/lime green is pretty close to his soccer jersey color. Bindings for 2 quilts are ready to go. I did manage to get all the binding strips sewn together, and then pressed the peach binding and attached it to the quilt.
While in the cutting mood, I cut all of the remaining squares I need for the second Folded Star table runner. Binding for these 2 projects has also been cut - red print for the one with the red center and brown for the one with the brown center.
Scraps were used for binding on a couple of mug rugs too. The mug rugs fronts used scraps from these table runners. Even the backs of these are scraps.
Don't forget to check out what else is happening in the scrappy world.

You got a lot done while you were in recovery mode!
You really were cutting and using up scraps! I’m soooo behind in reading blogs, I need to take time to catch up with you! Folded Star table runner sounds awesome!
The prepping of the sewing makes the sewing go so much faster! A productive day in the sewing room for sure... :)
It's such a great idea to have so many things prepped for when you're ready to work on them! The mug rugs are really cute. Do you give them for gifts?
We overate too...now I just want to nap all day every day:)
