Block #6 of Circle of Friends will be done today, once the paper is removed.
Each month Carol Doak releases a new block on Facebook for the paper pieced Circle of Friends sew-along. Each block has the same wedge shape at the outer corners, but the rest of each block is unique. There will be 12 blocks total.
One of my projects yesterday was to make 2 batches of these Rosemary Spiced Nuts. I make these every year at Christmas time. There is rosemary, cayenne, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt in olive oil poured over any combination of nuts you like before roasting them. We like almond, peanuts, cashews, and pistachios. Yum!!
No cookies have been baked yet, and I haven't sent out my Christmas cards yet. But the nuts are made so that's a good beginning, right?

The nuts look great! I'm baking less this year not many people around so why bother! I stopped doing Xmas cards a long time ago, most of the extended family has - stamps are crazy expensive now
I haven't been sending out Christmas cards much anymore, postage got to high, so it's emails and texts, sad I know. Another cool circle of friends block.
Those look yummy and the coating sounds amazing. I've at least bought my Christmas cards. This weekend is addressing and sending time. December is steaming along like a freight train and there is no way I'm keeping up. Love your paper pieced block. That's going to be a very bold and bright quilt.
