There are 2 main projects on the design wall for this week, and since it's supposed to be chilly and wet a good share of the week I'm optimistic about what I'll accomplish. A good start has been made on this month's row for Saturday Sampler. I'll need a total of 30 of those floating square-in-a-square blocks. They are only 4.5" unfinished, and there will be 15 in each of 2 rows in the quilt.
All 6 rows of the Night Vision main blocks are assembled, and ready for the first border. Those pinwheels will be part of the second border. This may be a "design as I sew" kind of project from this point.
The final block for the Riley Blake challenge will be released tomorrow, so that is also on my list of things to work on for the week. I grumbled all winter about no snow, but now we're finally getting some rain. We had a couple of lovely 90 degree days about a week ago, and now it's back into the 50s, windy and rainy. Perfect sewing weather, right?

Yes a cool week hope you get lots of sewing time!
Yes it has went to a chilly weather time for us too and it looks like it will stay for a bit. But like you said a good time to spend in the sewing room. I am anxious to see how you put together the Night Vision quilt!
We are cool, too this week. Cheers to getting lots of sewing done. :)
Prime sewing weather! Hope you can make the most of it. You always have some fun projects in the works. Wishing you lots of progress on all of them this week
Wind and rain definitely make for good sewing days! We've had a lot of rain and hopefully are a little ahead before summer dryness begins. I really like those floating square blocks and pinwheels are amongst my favorites! Thanks for joining us at Monday Musings.
