In the big collection of Brighten blocks were 7 made with red, white, and blue patriotic fabrics. Those were not going into the RSC quilt with the pinks and yellows, and other rainbow colors. But I did use 6 of them for placemats. All that was needed to bring them up to size was adding a strip across the top and bottom. There are now 30 placemats in the donation pile, and I have the tops for a couple more just waiting to be quilted.
More progress has been made on the doll quilt binding, and on the Christmas stockings, so I'm anticipating more small finishes to check off the list.
Not on my To Do list this week was the October mini quilt, with spool-shaped pumpkins for Halloween. Oops!! I want to at least get this one cut out this week to sew over the weekend. These kits from Shabby Fabrics are all cute as can be.
Also not on my To Do list this week is this bunch of 1.5" stars with fusible ironed on already, and being this small they are in serious danger of getting lost. Once I get these cut out they will maybe go onto a mystery project.

Thirty placemats, that's amazing! For sure you have to get the Halloween spool one done so you can display it next month.
The spool mini quilt is really cute, yes you should get that one done and hang it up soon!
While I enjoyed the 4 placemats I made this week, I can't imagine making a ton more. I need to change the way I made them, too!
Very pretty work you have in progress.
I seriously doubt you sleep!!! LOL. Lov the Indigo way, it's a beauty. And the doll quilt is adorable. Now, I am caught up, but I am sure you are going to have a dozen things done by the next time I drop in!!!
Those pumpkin spools are really cute. That has to go on the list for the weekend!
