It's a flimsy!!! Yay!!
I'm very excited to have the Bonnie Hunter mystery from this winter actually all assembled and ready to be quilted. Because it is going to be a baby quilt for a nephew and his wife, I made about half the blocks. It's 48" square.
The other nice thing about having it to this stage, is it cleaned up a lot of work space in my sewing room. While I was feeling disciplined, I even folded all the leftover fabrics and put them away in the stash drawers, or small pieces into the scrap bins. The only things left in the project box is the pattern, a small handful of leftover HSTs and flying geese - and a yard of one option for binding.
Now I can get back to work on the Jackrabbit Stars because there is room to lay parts out again. Today I hope to get the next strip set all sewn together.

I haven't pay attention to the mystery this time, but yours is beautiful. What a gorgeous baby quilt.
Beautiful baby quilt!
This is a perfect baby quilt, so pretty! Way to be disciplined and clean up all the leftover pieces and scraps. Happy stitching!
This mystery quilt turned out beautifully! Great job!
turned out really good, love the colors
What a lovely baby quilt!
A friend shared the link to your blog with me. I am also in the throes of finishing (??? Working on???) Lupines and Laughter! Your quilt turned out beautifully. I have all of the Lupine Star blocks finished. I'm working on the kitty ears/half snowball blocks. My flying geese need to be trimmed as I had surgery before the mystery was published and cutting fabrics was a real challenge. I recently posted about having several projects running at one time....it seems you may be of a similar situation!
I love the flimsy for Lupine & Laughter that you made! It’ll make a perfect baby quilt. You’re on a roll these days!
