So close to having enough blocks made for 1 new Quilt of Valor, and a few more blocks made for a 2nd new Quilt of Valor. These are on my design wall this week with the hope to have a flimsy done by Friday if I get some sewing time in.
Twenty-six Jelly Belly Bar blocks are done, and the final 5 are cut out and ready to sew. This quilt will need 31 blocks, with a few of those cut in half in the final layout. EDIT: Here is the link to this free block pattern from Moda Bake Shop:

And 8 more Boxed Square blocks are added to that stack to bring the total to 23. My plan right now is to make 90 of these for a good sized Quilt of Valor. But we will see how things progress with them.

Well, I had to look up the Jelly Belly Bars pattern. What a great way to use up either coordinated fabric (like your RWB) or miscellaneous scraps. Ditto with the boxed squares....So many great ideas! Hope you'll be able to make a bunch this week.
I had to go find a jelly belly bar block. That is a pretty neat way to make a fast quilt. Thanks for sharing the idea. There might be one in my future.... ha! Every quilt I see I want to make so there MAY be one in my future.
You have some fabulous patriotic fabrics! Both sets of blocks will make great QOV. I started sewing some Ritzy Cracker blocks yesterday.

Lots of fun patriotic fabrics in your blocks. Easy blocks are a nice way to balance out your sewing time, it's so much easier to feel like you actually accomplished something.
These blocks are so lovely. Love all those patriotic fabrics, and of course red, white and blue dance the most harmonious of dances. This quilt will be popping with fabulous pattern.
