Did someone push the fast forward button on the calendar? I can't believe September is more than halfway gone. This week I plan to focus on setting blocks into rows, with no expectations of having any finished tops done by the end of the week. There is also a mini quilt to bind this week so it's ready for October.
There are the brown batik blocks from this weekend's Sew a Jelly Roll Day. All 42 blocks are sewn for this one.
Next there is the Candy Lane quilt, with metallic silver and gold. Again, the blocks are all made for this very simple layout. Each pinwheel will be paired up with a long strip.
And as a break from lots of brown and beige, there are the wildly colorful Windmill blocks for Rainbow Scrap Challenge. This isn't the final layout, but I have decided to just make 1 quilt with them rather than 2 small ones. There will be a few blocks left over, but they'll be the beginning of another set for the future.

Your windmill block quilt is very interesting, it could almost be one of those I spy quilts:)
That is a lot of brown and beige for you to work on all at once, so it's fun that you have pulled out your windmill quilt. You should have lots of flimsies this month and then lots of finishes for Oct. perhaps.
The jelly roll blocks look great! The batiks in shades of brown are prettier than you'd expect. In fact, they sparkle!
Have fun with piecing the JR quilt--I love not having to match seams! lol The silver/gold blocks are so elegant!
