The binding is done on 2 placemats, the first 2 of 2026. The other 5 still need quilting, but a little at a time will get them done.
Some cutting and sewing happened for both Rainbow Scrap Challenge and the BH mystery. I cut 5 more sets of Clue #7 but only got 2 sets sewn. And on the right is the beginning of a new Give It a Whirl block. The HSTs are sewn and ready for the white corners.
I had to go to the clinic yesterday morning for a blood draw, and then return mid-afternoon for an appointment to get my prescriptions all renewed. Our family doctor retired in December and the PA I'll be seeing now requires a face to face appointment every 6 months in order to renew meds. I hated walking into the clinic as there are so many influenza cases right now. It was a busy busy place.
The other task for yesterday was taking Christmas decorations back to storage in the basement. I made a lot of trips up and down those steps yesterday.

I love the placemats, pretty designs and colors. I saw that you said on another post that your blue scrap bin was your biggest and always overflowing. I can barely close the lid on mine, and even using it this month for RSC will not make a dent in it.
I had the same experience with a PA, and I'm beginning to wonder if it is something they are required to do because of their status. It is annoying to have be healthy and have to go into the clinic every 6 months.
Your insurance company may be the one requiring a visit with your primary care provider every six months, and not necessarily the PA. Insurance plans and drug coverage vary greatly, and of course changes can slip by us.
Nice work on the placemats!!! I dreaded going yesterday for a blood draw, too, but there were only a few people and they were there for the same reason--so coughing happened! Yay!
That red placement is really bold and fun. They say red helps improve appetite so hopefully it will go to someone who doesn't feel hungry but really needs the calories.
Do you pin baste your placemats before you quilt them? I follow you daily and enjoy all of your quilting. Thank you for taking the time.
