Tricks of the trade

There are so many little tricks that make blocks turn out more accurately, and I wanted to share one of my favorites. I like to "spin" the center of some blocks so that all of the seams go the same direction. This reduces the bulk in the center of a block and helps the block lie flat.

THis is a great idea. I do it when hand piecing but never think of doing it when machine piecing xx
