The Stay At Home Round Robin prompt for Round 2 was "seeing double". Kathleen McMusing was the designer this week.
After a lot of thinking, I decided to keep things simple this week, and to give the eye a chance to stop after a very busy round. So I added a simple double border. The border around the center block is dark purple. The new double border is a dark aqua/blue, and then a dark fuschia. Now I feel like the third round can be more dramatic again. It's about 26" square at this point.

I love what this does to your quilt and a double border is a great way to "Make it a double"!
That's a good solution to the "make it a double" prompt! Pretty colors, and it does help contain all those triangles, too.
Excellent decision for this 'double' round!
Your SAHRR is Looking so good, Sara.
Simple can be really effective. I agree it does give you a good chance to do something fun with the next prompt. You've definitely nailed bright and fun this year. Love all that color!
What a clever idea, and it does set you up well for the next border!
Nice!
A double border is a smart choice for this week. Looks great and sets you up well for the next prompt!
Perfect option!!! I love it.

Sound reasoning for your #2 round. I love it!
I think "simple" is a good idea to let the eye rest in a quilt. Your hourglass blocks harmonize and the double border puts a nice edge on those. Nicely put together!
I follow a few bloggers doing this challenge, and I'm seeing a lot of great ideas. This one is my favourite so far - relatively simple, but big impact! I'm excited to watch your progress!
Simple is always good! I sometimes overthink and make things too complicated, but simple quilts and blocks are usually my favorite ones. Love your bright happy colors.
Your border looks great. It makes your centre pop beautifully :)
The double borders was a good choice. Those deep colors work great.
