The spring mini banner is all done and ready to hang in my office, if spring ever actually arrives. We don't have snow but it is very definitely cold here in SD.
With the 2 banners I've made so far, I kept the quilting very simple. A decorative stitch along the sashing and borders is really all they needed.
These are about 10" wide and 24" long, and fit perfectly between the closet and the hallway in that narrow bit of wall.
I'm also caught up with this month's Saturday Sampler task. We needed to make 9-patch blocks using 2.5" squares. Four of the blocks are sewn into 1 strip, 3 into another strip, and 2 are left as single blocks. I mixed in some of the pale backgrounds used in month #1, and lots of the colors that will show up all over the quilt.

Your spring banner makes me smile! It is darling! Was the "Honey" label included in the kit?
Your little banner is so cute. If those cute bees don't spur Mother Nature into getting her Spring gears rolling I don't know what will. Enjoy! ;^)
Those are adorable!
Your bee/honey banner is reminiscent of the manuka honey for sale all over New Zealand. (I didn't buy any!)
We'll do done
Well done
That banner is adorable. I have a couple friends that are so into bees. I've been in my sewing room this week making new slipcovers for the outside furniture on my front porch. I think that I'll wait until April to put them out, but it's fun to be doing it now. Later I'll be wanting to be out of the sewing room and into the garden :) Happy Spring!!!
Your spring banner is really cute. Hopefully you'll see a spring warm up soon. It keeps going back and forth here. A couple of days warm, then the cold comes back.
Your banners are just so adorable!
