Back home

The ablation procedure went smoothly.  It's not a guarantee that it will completely stop the crazy heart rhythms but the doctor is optimistic that it will work. We got home just before noon on Wednesday, and I felt good enough to spend a little time sewing.

The 5 pink Wisdom blocks that I cut out earlier are now sewn.  There were 20 layer cake fabrics in that pack, and there are still 7 of them hanging with the blocks. The remaining ones are mostly green and a soft brown.  So, by the end of the month I hope to have all 20 blocks made for this long lost UFO.  Then I can decide what to do with them.

I did get the parts cut for the 7th Circle of Friends block.  However - I'm thinking that the 2 purples need to be lighter or brighter as there isn't much contrast with the black.  3rd from top and 3rd from bottom are both purple.  So, before I start sewing these blocks I might revisit my fabric choices.

One of my care instructions cautioned me about doing a lot of stairs for a couple days.  I was very careful to do them slowly today.  Also no lifting over 10 pounds for a week.  Gee - that eliminates laundry.  LOL

yes sounds like someone else needs to do laundry or let it sit aside. Hope the procedure works for you

Fingers crossed the procedure helps with the heart concerns. You've stayed on top of the stitching stuff. What a bummer you can't do laundry for a bit. Sewing should be good recovery therapy.

Praying that the ablation will successfully eliminate the erratic rhythms.

I am glad the procedure went well - and of course!! Laundry doesn't help us heal..... stay away from it!!
Your pink blocks look great
