In need of repairs

Sunday afternoon my Pfaff sewing machine suddenly became a casualty. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, but it appears that the bobbin casing is broken, or loose, or something. So I'm dropping it off for repairs. And I had to pull out my 30 year old Singer to finish what I was working on. I couldn't just leave a seam half stitched. But it broke my concentration enough that I didn't finish up the pillow top I was working on.

Now I just hope it isn't something really major. But then again maybe I need a reason to buy a new sewing machine. . .

My machine is at the shop getting fixed too. It had an error message and they have to wait for parts. I thought of you this weekend when my aunt, Mikaela, and I were at the Pin Cushion on Sat. I sure do find lots of neat things there. Hope it's not too major or a problem!

I have the same issue with my Pfaff 2040. Is that the same machine you have? My repairman has tried three times to fix it. Says there is nothing wrong with it but it only lasted five minutes after the last repair he tried.

I hope you have better luck. I ordered a new machine yesterday and am anxious for it to come tomorrow and start sewing again.
