To fix or not to fix

Can you see the 3 little HST blocks that are turned the wrong direction?  Out of more than 2,000 pieces in this quilt I turned 3 little (under 2") half square triangles.  DRAT, DRAT, DRAT.

This quilt top was DONE! And then last night I noticed this little mistake near the middle of this 80+ inch quilt. I know that many will say to leave it alone as my "humility" squares. But it is already wearing on me, so I might as well open up a few seams and fix it. DRAT!!!

What a shame. But I wouldn't be satisfied until I fixed it either.

It's happened to all of us probably......very nice top but I know you would be constantly looking at the "mistake". I say go in and get it done and then forget it and enjoy your wonderful top. Been there; done that.

I agree...your eye will always go to that spot if you don't fix it. It's a gorgeous quilt!

Yes, I would fix it, too, and agree with Ramona that your eye will always be attracted to that area. You put too much time into this top not to enjoy it every time you see it.

So glad you were able to fix it before quilting!
