A new month, and I am pushing toward finishing some things already happening, and starting at least one new project. Before retirement, August meant prepping for a new school year. Now, I can just continue with enjoying summer. I'm even hoping for a few days in the Black Hills toward the end of the month.

That's a nice, well-rounded list. Years ago you may have spent August preparing for school -- nowadays classes begin mid-month!
Good luck with your list for the month. There is a lot on it, but that means you can find something to fit the available time and mood.
