I've decided that one of the reasons that I love block of the month types of projects is because I am less likely to become bored and set it aside.
This morning I sewed together row 2 of my RSC15 Sampler and then joined rows 2 and 3. It is really exciting to see how those alternate blocks frame the stars. And now it is so easy to see how the new color for row 1 will fit into the pattern.
Now I'm getting very excited to see what color is added in September. It's really coming together quicly now.

Looking really good! It will be finished in no time.
Love your blocks, they look great. I wish I had started making the star blocks now, but perhaps I will follow the suggested block next year!

Great progress. Makes me eager to do some catching up.
It is beautiful! Seeing the finished blocks coming together to make a real quilt is so exciting. Lovely work.
Another quilt to make me wonder why I didn't just start the RSC Sampler in the first place!! Off to look for squares to begin making some alternate blocks...
That is gorgeous. I love the way it is coming together!
